United Seating Industrial & Design was founded in Taiwan in 1968, as a specialized public transportation coaches related accessories and equipment manufacturer. Few years later, USI released several intercity bus and railway seat, and soon captured the local market, and moved on to focus on international railway carbody manufacturer.

The past 40 years, global railway transportation was prospering, USI has been engaged in development, design, engineering, manufacturing, project managing, test, and verification of various types of public transportation seats. USI supplied seats for both rolling stock manufacturers and government railway administration around the world.

Today, USI has focused on developing of composite material application, light weight and fashion seat. Also, expansion our design filed into the exterior and interior concept image design for rolling stock. We are not only a seat manufacture, but also a solution provider for our clients.
